Windows reports that it is unable to register ReSize OCX.

Last updated: January 21, 2007

Applies to: The 32-bit version of ReSize OCX only - versions 3.0 and above.
(ReSize32.OCX)

Cause: You are not distributing the MFC support files along with your application.

Background:
OCX's that are based on the Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC) require that a number of support files be present on the target machine along with the actual OCX file. These support files may not be placed on the system when you install a Microsoft operating system such as Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows NT. ReSize needs some of these files in order to register itself on the target machine. The other support files are needed in order for ReSize to run on the target machine.

ReSize requires the following support files:

MFC42.DLL
MSVCRT.DLL
OLEPRO32.DLL
OLEAUT32.DLL
STDOLE2.TLB
